Aerial Stills (1988; 4:30') begins with a freeze frame: a row of houses exposed by nightly lightning. The meteorological event links the hitherto unrelated flight of a Cessna pilot and the view of a stationary observer. Now they are moving parallel to each other along the same time axis towards their mutual death.
