The triptych presents multiple aspects of a single take broken into shards. Although I stood next to these two women in the New Museum, the shot being surreptitious I first saw them only whilst viewing the footage. When mingling among strangers, I often carry a covert video camera at hand to capture glimpses of reality undisturbed by the presence of a perceived observer.
